The Self, Health, and Wealth Framework

Your goals don’t become real until you define them, bucket them, and hold yourself accountable

Why Accountability Matters

Goals are easy to dream about. They’re harder to execute. And the reason most people lose momentum isn’t because they don’t want it badly enough — it’s because they don’t have accountability.

Without structure, goals are just wishes. And wishes don’t build careers, grow bank accounts, or transform lives. Accountability is the difference between “someday” and “done.”

The Three Buckets: Self, Health, and Wealth

To make accountability manageable, I break goals into three simple buckets:

  • Self: What you want to accomplish for you — your passions, personal projects, and purpose.

  • Health: How you create the body and mind that can actually sustain the life you’re building.

  • Wealth: The financial foundation that supports freedom and choice.

When you frame goals this way, nothing gets lost. You’re not just chasing money at the expense of your health. You’re not just focused on personal passions without considering financial sustainability. You’re balancing all three.

Real-Life Examples of Each Bucket

These aren’t abstract concepts — I see them playing out around me every day:

  • Health: One of my closest friends is entering her first bodybuilding competition. Two of my SDRs are training for their first Ironmans and marathons. That’s health goals in action — pushing the limits of what their bodies can do.

  • Wealth: Another friend is in the process of buying her first home. Someone else is saving up for her wedding. Wealth isn’t always about “more money” — it’s about aligning money with milestones that matter.

  • Self: A friend of mine is hosting her first wellness and yoga retreat. And me? I’m in the process of writing a book. Those are self goals — personal milestones that fuel purpose and passion.

When you zoom out, these buckets are universal. They don’t look the same for everyone, but they always connect back to the bigger vision: building a life that’s rich in all dimensions.

How to Set Up Your Buckets

  1. Take a blank page and divide it into three columns: Self | Health | Wealth.

  2. Write down 2–3 things you want to accomplish in each bucket before the end of the year.

  3. Put a timeline or deadline next to each one.

  4. Share at least one of those goals with someone you trust so you have accountability.

Remember: goals without deadlines are just daydreams.

Reflection Prompt

What are your Self, Health, and Wealth goals for the rest of 2025?

  • Self: What personal milestone will make you proud, even if nobody else knows about it?

  • Health: How can you strengthen your body and mind to carry you into 2026 with energy?

  • Wealth: What financial move will set you up for freedom next year?

Closing Note

This framework isn’t just about setting goals — it’s about aligning them. Because you can’t be rich in one area while bankrupt in another and expect to feel fulfilled.

Over the next 11 Tuesdays, we’ll keep layering tools, strategies, and reflections that make sure all three buckets are moving forward together.

Because this is the real work: building a life that’s rich in compensation, richer in life.
